What Is an NHVR Work Diary?

An NHVR work diary is the official record of a heavy vehicle driver's work and rest under the Heavy Vehicle National Law. Drivers can use the written National Driver Work Diary or an electronic work diary approved by the NHVR.

A work diary records when you start and stop work and rest, where each change happens and the vehicle you're in. Entries need to be accurate and ready to show an authorised officer.

NHVR work diaries are required for drivers working 100km or more from base under Standard Hours, or any distance under BFM, AFM or ACA-Fatigue hours. Logmaster is an NHVR approved EWD built for Australian transport operators.
