What Is an NHVR Electronic Work Diary?

An NHVR electronic work diary (EWD) is a digital work diary that the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator has approved for recording driver work and rest under the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

To be approved, an EWD has to record work and rest accurately, keep records secure and let drivers show their records to an authorised officer at a roadside check.
