What Are NHVR Work Diary Requirements?

NHVR work diary requirements set out who needs to keep a work diary, what each entry must record and how records are kept and produced for authorised officers.

Requirements include recording all work and rest activities in approved formats (paper National Work Diary or NHVR-approved electronic systems), capturing required data fields such as times, activities, and locations, maintaining records for specified retention periods, and producing records on demand for enforcement officers during inspections.
