What Is NHVR Compliance?

NHVR compliance is meeting all regulatory requirements under the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, including fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility, mass and loading, vehicle standards, driver licensing, and other obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law that applies to heavy vehicle operations across Australian jurisdictions.

NHVR compliance requires operators to implement appropriate policies and procedures, use approved systems and processes (such as NHVR-approved work diaries), maintain accurate records, monitor compliance performance, and demonstrate they have taken reasonable steps to prevent violations and manage operational risks.
