Logmaster's electronic work diary replaces a heavy vehicle driver's written diary with an NHVR approved app. It runs the fatigue plans Australian drivers work under, on the phones and tablets they already use.
Behind it sits a portal for record keepers and a support team for when you need a hand.
A work diary has to satisfy an officer at the roadside, a record keeper in the office and an auditor years later. It also has to be something drivers will use properly every shift.
Getting all of that from a booklet relies on careful handwriting and careful filing.
One Approved Diary, Built Around the Driver
Logmaster's EWD is approved by the NHVR as device agnostic, and its approval certificate is NHVR document 59. It sits within a wider fatigue and compliance platform that also covers mass compliance, checklists and expiry alerts.
It doesn't track drivers. Location is captured only when a work or rest entry is made, and nothing is shared without permission.
Standard, Standard Bus and Standard Two-up hours, BFM and BFM Two-up, and AFM, each counted against its own limits.
Exemption Hours
Livestock and concrete agitator exemptions are built in for drivers who work under them.
WA Plans
14 Day Solo, 28 Day Solo, 7 Day 2-Up and 48hr 2-Up plans for drivers working in Western Australia.
ACA‑Fatigue, Table by Table
Logmaster builds and tests each operator's approved ACA-Fatigue table, then applies to the NHVR to add it before switching it on.
Phones, Tablets and Mounts
The app runs on Android 7+ and iOS 12.5.5+, and tablets with truck mounts can be supplied if you'd rather not use personal phones.
Help When You Need It
A support and training line, helpdesk tickets and a Training Centre cover drivers and record keepers.
What Each Person Gets
Heavy Vehicle Drivers
A diary that counts to the minute, carries unused minutes forward in the day, warns before breaks and keeps recording without signal.
Fleet Managers and Record Keepers
A portal with live entries, potential breach alerts, paper workbook entry for written diary drivers, and weekly log sheets that arrive automatically.
Transport Business Owners
Records held securely on an ISO 27001 certified platform, with compliance reports and API connectivity for other systems.
The Diary Behind 1,200+ Businesses
Logmaster's EWD is used by more than 10,000 drivers and 1,200 businesses, supported by over 80 channel partners. Named customers include PFD Food Services, Cleanaway and Greyhound Australia.
Fleets already using Geotab or Microlise can connect them through Connected Fleets and see vehicle location beside each driver's work and rest records.

No. GPS is used only when you record a work or rest event, to suggest the suburb, which you can change. The app doesn't track your movement between entries.
There's a dedicated support and training phone line, a helpdesk ticket form and an online Training Centre.
No, Logmaster doesn't provide vehicle tracking itself. If you already use Geotab or Microlise, Connected Fleets pairs their vehicle location data with Logmaster's fatigue records in the portal.
