Understanding How Your Logmaster Access Works

If you’re a driver using Logmaster and your company has set up your account and paid for your subscription — you’re not alone. Most Logmaster users are connected to their employer this way. But what happens if you leave the company, or if the company stops using Logmaster altogether?

Relax. Your diary, your history, and your access are still yours.

Who Pays for Logmaster?

There are two ways a Logmaster subscription is paid for:

1. Company-Sponsored
– Your employer pays for your seat on Logmaster.
– They’re covering the subscription so you can use the system.
– This is just like them giving you a digital work diary.

2. Driver-Sponsored
– You pay for your own subscription.
– It’s your personal EWD, and you can connect to any company you work for.

If You Leave Your Company

Whether you change jobs or your employer stops using Logmaster, here’s what happens:

1. You Keep Your Account.
– The digital diary is yours. Just like if they bought you a paper one, it’s still your record.

2. You’ll Get an Email.
– Logmaster will notify you that the company has stopped sponsoring your seat.
– You’ll be given options:
– Keep access to your diary archive (for reference or records only).
– Start your own subscription so you can keep using Logmaster.
– Wait to be picked up by another company if they use Logmaster and choose to sponsor you again.

When You’re Between Jobs

Still deciding what’s next? You don’t have to do anything straight away.

– Your data is safe.
– You’ll never be double charged — we make sure of that.
– If you don’t pick up your own subscription, your account will just pause — not disappear.

When you’re ready:
– Subscribe personally to stay active.
– Or wait — if a new company picks you up and chooses to pay, they’ll cover the cost again.

What If You Subscribe Yourself?

If you’re paying for your own license and a company links with you, here’s the good news:

– The company gets access for free.
-If the company picks up the charge logmaster pauses charging you.
– Logmaster don’t double charge.
– This gives you control and flexibility — you’re always covered, and you always know who’s paying.
